Orkestra Technologies is a rapidly growing Australian-based software startup that is revolutionising the way new energy projects are deployed. Our software principally helps salespeople and analysts selling commercial new energy projects, such as solar, batteries, and electric vehicles, to perform financial analysis on hundreds of project options and identify financially optimal solutions for business customers.

We have fast become the market leader in Australia with most tier 1 energy service companies and solar installers serving the commercial and industrial sector in Australia and New Zealand using our software. We are now rapidly expanding in UK and Germany, and soon the rest of Europe.

We are now seeking a lead energy consultant to support our European team. You will working alongside by Orkestra’s Co-CEO, co-founder and Head of Growth, James Allston (based in France) and Heads of Sales and Customer Success for UK and Germany. There will also be marketing, product and customer success team support from Australia.

About the Role

Working in the customer success team, you will be primarily responsible for developing the business’s understanding of commercial solar & battery opportunities in Europe. This will require you to do deep research, speak with partners and customers and then proactively disseminate your knowledge across the Orkestra team and to our customers. Your knowledge will be key our go-to-market activities in Europe, informing product development, marketing, sales and customer success.

Your job will be to stay ahead of regulation, technology, commercial models and other key facets of the commercial new energy market in European Markets. You will have an opportunity to expand your knowledge into other markets around the globe as we expand.

You will have an opportunity to share your thought leadership with our customers and the market in general through writing blogs and knowledge articles, developing example projects in Orkestra, recording vlogs, delivering webinar trainings and other similar mediums.

Finally, to deeply learn the Orkestra product, for the first few months in the role you will provide customer success and onboarding support to Orkestra customers. You will assist customers to nut out complex projects and support them to model them in Orkestra. You will need to feel very comfortable modelling commercial & industrial new energy solutions that include solar, battery and EV charging, new energy business models, tariffs, virtual power plant revenues and more.

You will report to James Allston, Co-CEO and Head of Growth, Europe. You will also work closely with the European Head’s of Sales and CS and Australian based Head of Product, feeding our market knowledge and understanding into our product roadmap.
