About us
Orkestra Technologies is a venture-backed SaaS startup whose products helps teams to sell and operate solar, batteries and EV charger technologies. We are looking for a Product Manager to help ensure the commercial success of our software products.
About the role
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for executing the strategy for one of our two software products. You’ll be collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and aligning our roadmap with market demands and customer needs. This role requires a deep understanding and commercial acumen in the distributed energy landscape.
You will work closely with customers, the Head of Product and other product managers, designers, senior engineers, and other internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions to real-world problems.
You’ll need to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment, which is 100% remote. We’re only accepting candidates with a full Australian working permit.
About You
This role will suit you if you:
- have at least 5 years of collective experience in product management, the distributed energy industry, ideally with B2B SaaS experience.
- have strong commercial acumen. You exhibit good judgement on key product decisions. You know when you need to gather data, or when you can rely on your conviction earned through experience. Your opinions are loosely held.
- empathise with customers. You do what it takes to learn about their requirements. You craft intuitive solutions that truly solve their problems. You remain curious at all times.
- have a highly collaborative working style. You’ll work closely with adjacent roles, such as product managers and engineers, to plan, prioritise, and deliver projects.
- have excellent communication. Ability to convey opinions, thoughts, and feelings with other teammates, founders, and customers. Honest, thoughtful, and transparent communication is critical, particularly in a remote team.
- have a pragmatic get sh*t done attitude.  You can resourcefully solve problems. Comfortable with ambiguity, and shifting deadlines.
- you move quickly. You understand that speed is critical in a start up. You’re decisive and exhibit good judgement on when to go slow, and when you can move quick. You ask questions to stay unblocked.
- you’re self-disciplined and a positive attitude**. Y**ou manage your time well and have a positive, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude that is required at an early-stage startup. You’re willing to learn and ask questions to fill the gaps.
- enjoy working 100% remotely.
